Research at SGS
The Seattle Genealogical Society and Library offers many great resources for the family history researcher. Although we are located in Seattle and our primary focus is on Seattle and Pacific Northwest resources, our library is not limited to information from this area. Significant resources are available for all states, Canada, the UK, Scandinavia, and other international regions.
The Seattle Genealogical Society Library features:
- Books and Periodicals for all states and many countries
- Washington State resources, including books, periodicals, yearbooks, city directories, and family records
- Computer resources, including Ancestry World Deluxe, American Ancestors (NEHGS) and Deedmapper
- Microfilm and Microfiche collections
- Family Histories, including published and manuscript collections
