The Seattle Genealogical Society is an all-volunteer organization. There are many opportunities available for you to help keep SGS moving forward. We’ll be happy to train you if you’re willing to help out. Members can sign up for volunteer opportunities online, or let us know what interests you by filling out a Member Interest Form! Publications Opportunities

• Write an article for the SGS Bulletin. Review the Writing Guidelines for submission requirements.
• Help EDIT or PROOFREAD our publications
• Help Layout the SGS Bulletin or Newsletter
• Serve as one of our SGS Printers
• Help with mailings

Teaching Opportunities

• Be a presenter for one of our monthly programs:     

    -- Intermediate Research Series topics
    -- Ethnic workshops
    -- Topics of general interest to genealogists
    -- Genealogy computing topics
• Teach a class

Library Opportunities

• Become a Desk Volunteer and help visitors to our wonderful library
